UPC Switzerland to speed up internet for existing customers with launch of Happy Home

With the launch of a new concept in household entertainment, Happy Home, UPC Switzerland promises to double the internet speed for up to 300,000 existing customers to 200 Mbps or 500 Mbps gradually by the middle of the year. To facilitate the set-up of a home WLAN, the cable operator offers the mobile application UPC Connect App, which allows easy control of the UPC modem Connect Box. Where necessary, customers can use the adapter WLAN Powerline Set to extend the coverage and effectively cover the whole household with the internet.

The launch of Happy Home will be accompanied by an advertising campaign and the operator will bring out further details soon. The concept has already been introduced e. g. in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and Poland.
