Bhopal gay scientist's suicide note: Dying to save man I love from death

In a bizarre incident reported from Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal city, a 27-year-old research scholar committed suicide over his dreams that the man he loved would die if he asks him out.
A research scholar at the Advanced Material and Process Research Institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Nilotpal Sarkar jumped and drowned in the Upper Lake- in a rather planned manner.
The 27-year-old's body has been found with a tag tied to the wrist with his name, residential address and contact information. In addition, he also posted a 'final video' on his Facebook account that had shots of his room. A suicide letter has also been recovered from his residence.
The police said the letter read "his suicide theory about his love for a man, whom he wanted to marry. It appears he was guided by some dream," while ruling out any foul play.
According to the police, Nilotpal was in love with a man but could not confess his love to, lest he dies- reports suggest Niloptkar was hallucinating.
