New Delhi, Feb 12: A fire broke out at a shoe factory in national capital’s Narela area on Monday. Seven fire engines were pressed into service to douse the flames. The cause of the fire has still not been ascertained. Rescue operation is underway.

As per the reports, no casualties have been reported so far. More details are awaited.

The incident came a day after a person was killed after a fire broke out at a garment manufacturing unit in Karol Bagh area. Last year, a man was killed in a fire that broke out in a plastic factory located in Narela. Besides the casualty, another person was also severely injured.
