Bicyclist in critical condition after being hit by car in Clovis

All lanes of Peach and Shaw are now open after being closed for more than five hours as Clovis police officers investigated a crash.

The investigation began after a vehicle and a bike collided in the roadway in Clovis just before 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The bicyclist is now in the hospital in critical condition. The bicyclist suffered head trauma and a broken hip in the accident.

The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators.
