(Reuters) - Indian shares rose on Monday, rebounding from their biggest weekly drop since August, but State Bank of India dropped after posting a surprise quarterly loss on Friday.
The benchmark BSE Sensex closed up 0.87 percent at 34,300.47.
The broader NSE Nifty ended 0.81 percent higher at 10,539.75.
