PATNA: Thirty 30 examinees, including girls, were expelled for cheating while two impersonators were arrested during the Intermediate examination for four subjects conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) at 1,384 centres across the state on Monday.
Around 1.50 lakh candidates appeared for music and 406 for agriculture paper in the first sitting whereas 2.24 lakh wrote geography and 50,792 the business studies papers.
Among those expelled were four each from Siwan and Madhepura, followed by three in Samastipur, two each in Aurangabad, Nawada, Supaul, Rohtas, Buxar and Muzaffarpur and one each in Patna, Jehanabad, Saran, Madhubani, Sheohar, Nalanda and Bhojpur. One impersonator was arrested in Bhojpur and another in Madhubani.
On Tuesday, the BSEB will conduct examination of language subjects in the first sitting and psychology and vocational trade- III in the second sitting.
Meanwhile, the board has also given last chance to examinees of Class X to make corrections in their admit cards. “Candidates who will appear for matriculation exam can rectify the mistakes in their admit cards on February 13 and 14 and can download their admit cards on February 15 from the board’s official website www.bsebbihar.com,” BSEB chairman Anand Kishor said on Monday.
The Class X board exam will begin with English paper on February 22.
