LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12: February 19th, the 50th day of the year, will now be known as Forever Fierce Day to show women that aging isn't something to fear, but rather something to embrace and to provide inspiring role models to the public, media, and brands of women who defy the current conceptions of Midlife.
As part of the celebration, a global online campaign will join women together virtually to explore perceptions about "What it means to be FIERCE at Midlife." The campaign, Forever Fierce: Making Midlife Cool, features 50 Midlife Women of Influence across the country have been selected to represent their respective cities. Each woman will use their blog, reach and network to give other 35+ women a platform to share their story. This year marks the third campaign to raise awareness launched by founder, Catherine Grace O'Connell. The first campaign, The Fierce 50, brought together 75 Bloggers over the age of 50 to celebrate this powerful demographic. The second, Bridging the Gap, paired 100 Mid-Life Influencers with 100 Millennial Influencers; the campaign garnered nearly 9 million in social media following. Unprecedented in the world of Influence, the campaigns were organic, grassroots efforts designed to blur boundaries and unite demographics to affect world change.
