Fountain City Kroger closed after water pipe bursts

Kroger's Fountain City location is closed indefinitely after a water pipe burst, flooding the grocery store Monday morning.

Shoppers were evacuated from at the store, located at 5201 N. Broadway, after the pipe burst about 9:30 a.m., according to Kroger spokeswoman Melissa Eads.

"We're still trying to determine the cause," she said. "At this point, there's no time frame for when we will reopen."
