How to Become Government School Teacher
Eligibility Criteria for PRT, TGT, PGT and Other Posts
Educational Qualification:
- PRT- Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and should be CTET qualified.
- Counselor - B.A./B.Sc.(Psychology) with certificate of Diploma in Counseling.
- Nurse- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc. in nursing with registration in the Nursing Council.
- PGT- Aggregate 50% marks in Master͛s degree in relevant subject with B.Ed. from a recognized University.
- Computer Instructor - B.E., B.Tech ( Computer Science)/ BCA/ MCA/ M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.Sc. (Electronics with Computer Science component)/ M.Sc. (IT)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) or Bachelors/ Masters degree in any Science subject/ Mathematics from recognized university with PGDCA from Government University/ Institute.
- TGT - Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.
- Sports Coach - Graduation in English and Certificate/Diploma/Degree in spoken English.
- Yoga Tr.- Graduation in any subject or equivalent from recognized University.
