While speaking on the occasion, chairing the session Prof Ram Darash Mishra said that “any mass movement is closely associated with the literature, society and culture of a country and literary movements like Chhayawaad stand as an example of how literature has always voiced the opinion of the masses to bring about a change”.

Prof Ravi Prakash Tekchandani, NCPSL Director, suggested that there is a need to revisit the cultural and literary history of India to give Sindhi language its due.

College Principal Dr Rajesh Giri said such programmes play an important role in the multifaceted development of a democratic country like India.
