Anti-socials on Friday night hurled bombs at a contractor’s camp office at Sankhari Sahi under Biridi block in the district.
The contractor’s construction company lodged an FIR in this regard at the Biridi police station.
Reports said that the Eastern India company has been assigned with a bridge construction at Sankharisahi. On Friday night, the motorcycle-borne miscreants reached the company’s camp office and hurled three bombs at it. However, no damage was reported. Basing on company managing director Prafulla Das’ complaint, police launched investigation.
Das has alleged that on December 21, 2017, some unidentified miscreants had demanded extortion money from him, when he refused to oblige them. These elements might have hurled bombs, he stated in his police complaint.
