Times of India reported that A new Indian electric two-wheeler startup, Emflux Motors, unveiled the country's first electric superbike at the 2018 Auto Expo. Christened Emflux One, the motorcycle will be priced around INR 6 lakh (on-road), the company said. Alongside the standard version, the electric superbike will be available with three performance upgrades, costing up to INR 11 lakh, Emflux Motors said.

The company is likely to start bookings and test rides of the electric superbike after six months from now, while the deliveries are expected in April 2019.

The Emflux One is powered by a 9.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack from Samsung that turns a 60kW motor. The Bengaluru-based bikemaker claims that the Emflux One is capable of achieving a three digit speed from the standstill in just 3 seconds and has a top speed of 200kmph.
