Radiology device maker Source-Ray won a $100 million contract with the US Department of Defense for the delivery of radiology systems and accessories, according to a DoD release.
The deal is a five-year base firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract with a single five-year option period, and was a competitive acquisition with a total of 27 responses received by the DoD.
Source-Ray produces portable X-ray systems, including its UC-5000 urgent care radiology unit, a line of wired and wireless digital systems and the line powered portable PowerMax 1260 unit, as well as a number of different OEM products, according to the Ronkonkoma, N.Y-based company’s website.
The contract has a completion date of February 8, 2023, and serves the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies, according to the DoD release.
