Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday claimed that BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman was involved in the attack on Bangladesh High Commission in London and the incident of dishonouring the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
"Interpol has already been informed about the matter. Process on taking legal action and bringing back the convicted person home got underway," said the minister while inaugurating a gate and naming of Shaheed ATM Jafar Alam Arkan road on the Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf road.
Earlier on January 7, the Bangladesh High Commission offices in London have been attacked from a protest rally organised by the UK unit of the BNP ahead of the Khaleda Zia’s corruption trial verdict.
