Fire burns Satkhira jute godown

Satkhira: A fire burned a jute godown in Kalaroa upazila early Monday.

Some unidentified miscreants set fire to the jute godown in Sreepotipur area around 1:00am, owner of the godown Mofizul Islam alleged.

The fire burned down goods worth about Tk 25 lakh, Mofizul claimed.

Being informed, a team of Fire Service and Civil Defence rushed to the spot and doused the flame after an hour of frantic efforts.
