On February 9, 'chocolate day' according to this Valentine week schedule, a song, Manikya Malaraya Poovi, from an upcoming Malayalam movie, Oru Adaar Love, released on YouTube.

The song composed by Shaan Rahman, the composer behind now-world famous 'Jimmiki kammal' song and sung by actor-producer-director Vineeth Sreenivasan, was received well by the audience. But a short sequence in the song has gone viral than the song itself.

What captivated social media users are the smile and expressions of a debutant Malayalam actress -- Priya Prakash Varrier -- and the sequence of her interaction with the fellow playing her high-school crush.

Priya was chosen to play a small role in the movie initially, but it seems the director, impressed with her talent, decided to make her one of the leads and for this, he is now reworking the script.

A day after the song was released, Priya joined Twitter.

With the song going viral, Priya's Instagram account is also gaining a lot of followers. When the follower count touched 187K, Priya recreated her expression in a small video and shared it on both Twitter and Instagram.

Here's how Twitter users reacted to the now-celebrated sequence in the song -

Priya's smile transcended borders, and people across India, across languages are being mesmerised.

And like the 'Pakistani chaiwala' became a sensation in India, it seems Priya has crossed even international borders.

But of course, not all are happy with what's happening.
