Iliad’s subsidiary Online, which specialises in hosting and data centre services, is preparing to open what it describes as one of the biggest data centre projects in France. The new DC5 facility, which will become operational by March, has been built in Saint-Ouen l'Aumone, north of Paris, over a surface area of 16,000 square metres. It will be interconnected with Online’s existing facilities (DC2, DC3 and DC4) and has been specifically designed to meet increasing demand in cloud computing and big data infrastructure.

Online is promising a transparent and flexible pricing structure for clients, with prices at least three times less expensive than any data centre in Europe.
