'Gorilla' shoot progresses

Team Gorilla has successfully wrapped up the Pondicherry schedule and they will be soon leaving to Thailand for a one-month long shoot. Jiiva and Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy fame are playing the lead roles in the film, which also has Sathish, Yogi Babu and Ramdoss of Mundasupatti and Maanagaram fame play pivotal characters.

For the first time in Tamil cinema, a chimpanzee also plays an important role in Gorilla, which is said to be a heist comedy thriller. Directed by Don Sandy, Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame is scoring the music for the film, Vetri Mahendran takes care of the visuals and Ruben is in charge for the cuts.

The film is being produced by Vijay Raghavendra of RUM fame and if all goes well, Gorilla will release for summer holidays.
