ICT services form 2.2% of Uzbekistan's GDP

Uzbekistan ICT service sales totaled UZS 7.9 trillion in 2017, up by 24 percent year-on-year, reports Gazeta.uz, citing a statement from the State Statistics Committee. Telecom services generated 87.3 percent of ICT service revenues. 

ICT services were worth 2.2 percent of the country‘s GDP. Capital expenditure for ICT totaled UZS 1.891 trillion, up by 68.7 percent year-on-year.
