The second edition of Cable & Wire fair 2017 (CWF17) pulled large number of delegates, visitors, and exhibitors, all satisfied with their performance at the conference and show. The show was 2.5 times larger than the previous edition with proportionate increase in exhibitors and visitors from various parts of the globe.
This time, the three-day show got response from the Indian subcontinent including India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, and witnessed unprecedented participation from Africa with nations like South Africa, Angola, Uganda, Mozambique, Zambia, and Ghana. The other nations such as Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Maldives, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, UAE, and Vietnam increased participation from the previous edition.
The conference saw cable conclaves, CEO panel discussions and technical sessions besides the inaugural session which. People like Anil Gupta, CMD, KEI Industries Ltd; Andrew Shaw, Managing Director, Dubai Cable Company (Ducab); Shreegopal Kabra, Managing Director, RR Global; and Vijay Vedmutha, Managing Director, Bedmutha Industries, were present and shared their views on various aspects of the wire and cable industry.
Organisers recorded the feedback, where a crew of cameramen, reporters and correspondents ensured exhibitors share their experiences at the show before exiting.
The show gave platform to find business, promote products, make the brand visible, and meet the otherwise inaccessible part of the industry.
'The three days at CWF17 helped us make new customers. The visitors have been quite responsive. Those who didn't know Synergy Steels got to know us because of the branding we received through this fair. We would like to be here in 2019 as well,' said Sandeep Dubey, President - Operations & Business Development, Synergy Steels. Discussions at the two cable conclaves and two CEO panel discussions took place at CWF17 wherein issues pertaining to the cable industry were raised and discussed. Besides, technical sessions provided space to the industry experts to present some of the themes of wire and cable technology. Besides, two technical sessions were also organised to give time to capture both the business and the technology side of the industry.
Cable & Wire Fair will be organised from November 6-8 in 2019 at Pragati Maidan.
