RAJKOT: A
man was arrested for
abducting a minor girl from
Kothi Compound Bungalows area in Rajkot on Monday. Police identified the accused as V Ranjitsinh Solanki.
The complaint against Solanki was lodged on February 8 by the girl’s mother, following which police had launched a manhunt for him.
Meanwhile, the police received information that Solani had taken the girl to Detroj in Ahmedabad district, following which a team of police officials went there and rescued the girl after arresting Solanki.
