(MENAFN) While attacking a crowded church in Sleman district in Yogyakarta province, Indonesia, with a sword causing the injuring of four people, a man was shot down by the police.

The man's intentions behind this attack early Sunday are not quite obvious yet, as Indonesia is considered one of the most recognizable Muslim countries, churches get frequently targeted by some Islamic actions.

People who witnessed this crime said that while the suspect swung his sword, people threw books at him, with his violent actions also harming a police man who was trying to separate between the suspect and a priest, the suspect is now in hospital.
