KANPUR: Governor and chancellor of state universities Ram Naik on Saturday said like UP Secondary Board exams, CCTV cameras will also be installed for university exams from the current academic session to check malpractices.

"Many universities have already started installing CCTV cameras, while others have been asked to do it at the earliest as exams are about to begin," Naik told reporters after a day-long annual meet attended by all 28 vice-chancellors at the CSJM (Kanpur) University.

Naik reportedly told the VCs about the urgent need to install CCTV cameras at all the places where university exams for the 2017-18 session will be held.
