World Wetlands Day : Decommission the Ithai Barrage

Statement of Citizens Concern for Dams and Development on the celebration of the World Wetlands Day at Ithai, Manipur, which called for the protection of wetlands with due recognition of indigenous peoples rights and also to decommission the Ithai Barrage of the 105 MW Loktak Multipurpose Hydroelectric Project and to stop the 66 MW Loktak Downstream project.
