The Lifebox Foundation, in association with the Apollo Group of Hospitals, distributed 25 life boxes to periphery hospitals, including government and private, at the Apollo Reach Hospital in Karimnagar town, on Saturday.
The life box, consisting of pulse oximeters, were distributed by Apollo Hospitals Regional (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) CEO Sandeep Chathrath, along with Deputy DM&HO Sujata, Mayor S. Ravinder Singh, Apollo Reach superintendent A. Naresh and administrator A. Babu Rao.
Apollo Reach superintendent and anesthesiologist Dr. Naresh conducted a workshop on safe anaesthesia for doctors working in periphery hospitals of the district.
Later, a workshop was also organised on infection control, for the benefit of nurses in government and private nursing schools.
