(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Sunday issued a book titled 'Kuwait and Reconstruction of Iraq' on the occasion of hosting Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq (KICRI), slated for February 12 to 14.

The 124-page book, also translated into English and French, encloses four chapters documenting developments of the recent Iraqi crisis since the so-called Islamic State (IS) took control of the city of Mosul, northern Iraq, as well as other key areas.

It also sheds light of the plight displaced Iraqis who fled their homes and cities in fear of the terrorist group's viciousness, in addition to the humanitarian role of State of Kuwait in aiding ailing Iraqis on all levels. (end) mad.hb
