MoU signed between NTPC and JBVNL

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between NTPC and Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited for providing one acre of land to establish power sub station at village Bukru under Keredari Block. The project-affected villages of NTPC North Karanpura have long back demanded for providing reliable power supply at surrounding villages of the project. Due to poor infrastructure for supplying adequate power in the area, state government has demanded land from NTPC. In this regard, a request has been received from JBVNL, Hazaribagh to provide land for construction of sub station. The MOU has been executed at NTPC plant office and signed by RK Singh, Executive Director, NTPC and Sudhir Kumar Singh, General Manager, Hazaribagh JBVNL. He has assured that project will be completed within one-year time frame. On this occasion Executive Director NTPC RK Singh said that the entire areas will got benefited with this MoU.
