Trump on Board for Fox News Host Jeanine Pirro's 'Fire and Fury' Rebuttal

Fox News host and former prosecutor Jeanine Pirro has reportedly secured an interview with President Donald Trump for a new book that will seek to rebut the claims of White House dysfunction in Michael Wolff’s bombshell book Fire and Fury.

According to The New York Times, Pirro, a staunch backer of the president, met Trump at the White House last week to discuss his involvement in her forthcoming book about his administration—reportedly nicknamed “No Fire, No Fury” in the West Wing.

An international bestseller, Wolff’s book paints a picture of Trump's White House reeling from one crisis to the next, and alleges that key aides have questioned Trump’s fitness for office.

Trump launched an unsuccessful lawsuit to prevent the book’s publication, and lashed out at former key aide Steve Bannon, who was quoted in the book criticising Trump aides and family members.

In a statement issued through Fox News on Saturday, Pirro denied that her project would serve as a “direct response to ‘Fire and Fury,’” adding, “The title on Amazon always has been and continues to be ‘Liars, Leakers and Liberals’ and I plan to cover all of them.”
