Serbian telecom equipment market grows 7.6% in Q4

The Serbian technical consumer goods market was worth RSD 21.09 billion in the fourth quarter of 2017, up 6.9 percent from the year before, according to a GfK TEMAX survey. Of the total, consumer electronics accounted to RSD 4.48 billion, up 27.4 percent, IT equipment grew by 6.3 percent to RSD 3.28 billion, and telecommunications equipment was worth RSD 7.44 billion, an increase of 7.6 percent. 

For the full year 2017, the technical consumer goods market was worth RSD 71.63 billion, up 7.2 percent. Telecom contributed RSD 27.44 billion, or 13.3 percent more than in 2016, and consumer electronics rose 8.7 percent to RSD 11.61 billion. The IT segment was worth RSD 10.26 billion, up 3.2 percent.
