Rajkummar Rao's next ‘Omerta’ to release on April 20

Hansal Mehta’s drama film Omerta starring Rajkummar Rao, will now release on April 20. The new date was released by the producers. The film is a high intensity drama that is based on the life of British terrorist of Pakistani descent  — Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh.

The film has won several accolades and been featured at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was also featured at the MAMI film festival with packed audiences.

“Like most of Hansal Mehta’s previous films, Omerta is based on true life events including terror-related events,” says a source close to the film.

Omerta is produced by Nahid Khan and presented by Swiss Entertainment.
