Bishnupur, February 10 2018: As a measure to counter the ravages of the rainy season, MLA T Robindro Singh today distributed three GI sheets each to 102 beneficiaries of polling station B and C under Moirang Khunou Gram Panchayat, Thanga AC, Bishnupur district.

The GI sheets distributed today were funded from the MLA Local Area Development Fund.

Total costs of the GI is reported to be Rs 11,20,000 .

Pradhan Thanga part II Ningthoujam Chandra Singh, Ward member 9/7/5 Ngaram A Premananda Singh were present at the distribution function.

Speaking at the event, T Robindro said that the initiative was taken up with an aim to do away with shabby and water dripping roofs in houses of the Constituency before rainy season.
