SRINAGAR: A youth was injured on Sunday when security force opened fire to disperse demonstrators in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said.
They said a security force party came under heavy stone pelting at Barthipora in Shopian. “The security force opened fire to disperse the demonstrators in which a youth was injured,” they said. Clashes were still going on when the reports last came in. (AGENCIES)
