(MENAFN) In response to the resignation of two White House aides over domestic abuse claims, President Trump has spoke out about how people are being "destroyed by mere allegation".
In his post on Twitter, the president wrote "there is no recovery for someone falsely accused."
Even though the president refrained from referring to the men, he did raise concern over accusations that might cause the loss of someone's "life and career".
The statement came after White House speechwriter David Sorensen and staff secretary Rob Porter stepped down from their position after their former spouses accused them of physical and emotional abuse.
