Police have detained a Nigerian alongwith fake dollars in Chhagalnaiya upazila of Feni.
The detainee is identified as Sabinas Cinedo, 44.
Chhagalnaiya Police Station OC M Morshed said that retired Customs officer Jalal Uddin acquainted with Cinedo over online business purpose.
Jalal sent Tk 15 lakh to Cinedo's bank account in exchange of dollar and gold last month. After that, Cinedo stopped contacting Jalal.
Then Jalal informed Cinedo's fraudulence to police.
Jalal manged to contact Cinedo again few days ago and brought him to Jalal's Pathangor village home.
Later, police detained him on Saturday night with fake dollars from Jalal's house.
