Powering the Concept EQ is a set of motors - one on each wheel - which in tandem produce a total of 402bhp allowing the concept car to sprint from 0-100kph in under 5 seconds. The battery pack that provides the motors with power allow the Mercedes Concept EQ to run for 500 kilometres on a single charge. The battery also offers fast charging which adds 160km of range in just 5 minutes.

The Mercedes Concept EQ sits on a new platform that will also underpin other electric vehicles from Mercedes EQ electric car sub-brand.
