Pakistan troops target Indian posts, civilian facilities on LoC

A day after a woman was killed in Pakistani firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, Pakistani troops on Sunday opened heavy shelling and firing in district, targeting both posts and civilian facilities, officials said.

said Pakistani shelling affected Panjgrain, Khorinar, Rajdhani and Naika areas near the LoC, leading to fear and panic among people.

Indian positions retaliated strongly and effectively, officials said.
