Jessore : Local journalists besieged the deputy commissioner's office here on Sunday afternoon demanding arrest and exemplary punishment to those attacked their two fellows.

The media men brought out a procession from Jessore Press Club and then laid a siege to the DC office.

Later, they handed over a memorandum, containing their demand, to the DC.

On January 24, Independent Television's Jessore correspondent Ziaul Haque and camera person Sharif came under attack while collecting news regarding workers' movement in Benapole.
