The Union Budget 2018-2019 will be remembered as the last full Budget in the run-up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. To help decode this Budget and what it means, The Hindu Business Line and the SHASTRA Deemed University will be hosting a ‘Post Budget Talk’ powered by FICCI.
Union Minister for Railways and Coal Piyush Goyal, the chief guest, will be charting the vision of the government on ambitious schemes announced in the Budget, such as Ayushman Bharat, the world’s largest universal health insurance scheme.
Shaktikanta Das, Member, 15th Finance Commission and India’s G20 Sherpa, will make a keynote address on important takeaways from the Budget.

Modi; and FICCI Secretary General Sanjaya Baru will answer the tricky question of how the government will balance the fiscal in the run-up to an election year.
