Rahul came up with a new analogy to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "flaws" in policy making.
"If Sachin Tendulkar batted looking at the wicketkeeper, he'd not have scored so many runs. But Modi bats looking at the wicketkeeper, so he doesn't know where the ball is coming. And when he gets out, he blames the wicketkeeper," he said while addressing a crowd at Sindhanur. "Stop giving excuses, Modiji. You have a year left. Do some work."
