Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) President Bhupesh Baghel and Leader of Opposition TS Singhdeo have jointly termed the State Budget 2018-19 as ‘disappointing’.
In a joint statement , the two party leaders stated that the youth, women , education employees and the labourers are disappointed with the budget. There is also no provision in the budget to distribute bonus arrears which has disappointed the farmers, the joint statement said.
The Gross Budget losses have gone up from Rs 6000 crores to Rs 9000 crores which is worrisome, they said.
The budget is not providing any benefit or relief to any section of the society , they said.
