Muscat, February 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday evening addressed the Indian community living in Oman in his last leg of tour to three West Asian countries.
While addressing the jam-packed audience, PM Modi emphasised that there have been no allegations of corruption against his government. “No one asks today as to how much Modi took away,” PM Modi said to the cheering Indian crowd in Muscat at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.
In Gulf region, more than nine million Indians work and live and they also constitute the largest expatriate community.
On the first leg to his trip, PM Modi had travelled all the way to Ramallah, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to make an official visit to Palestine. From there he visited UAE and arrived in Oman on Sunday afternoon.
