Ujjain: Congress leader Vivek Yadav ridiculing the PM’s ‘self employment’ scheme gave a memorandum to Vikram University vice chancellor demanding that along with the courses taught in the university, “new courses” for “pakoda frying, tea making and selling vegetables” should also be started. Yadav said that when Prime minister could not provide employment, he had mocked the youth by calling ‘self employement”, his scheme.

National Students Union of India (NSUI) State general secretary Pritesh Sharma said that according to Prime Minister, the unemployed educated youth “should start selling pakodas, tea and vegetables.” Taking a jibe at PM’s statement, the congress men and NSUI workers gave a memorandum so that the highly educated students who did not know how to make tea or ‘pakodas’, “could learn and become employed”.
