2 storey Namphalong market mooted

Imphal, February 09 2018:
Saigang CM Dr Myint Naign has assured to rebuild Namphalong market in the form of a two storeyed building.
He made the statement during a trip to meet the people affected by the fire at the market today morning.
The Saigang CM also assured that necessary arrangements will be made to shift the market near Gate number 2, while Namphalong market is being rebuilt.

On the other hand, Dr Myint Naign along with Act East Committee convenor RK Shivachandra also inspected the site where the foundation for the construction of an Indo Myanmar friendship bridge from Moreh ICP to Tamu Immigration check post will be laid.
It may be mentioned that a total of 69 roads and bridges, including the friendship bridge fromTamuto Kaleymyaw will be constructed under the funding of Ministry of External Affairs, India.
The inspection team also visited India Myanmar border pillar number 74, 75 and 77 as well.
