Bishnupur, February 09 2018: A free health camp was conducted at Manipur Creative School, Kwakta Sabal Leikai, Bishnupur district today, organised by Manipur Creative School, Nur Hospital & Research Institute, Lilong, National Health Mission, Bishnupur and Imphal East and Public Hospital & Research Institute, Imphal East under the aegis of Indian Muslim Relief & Charity (IMRC), USA and Sahitya Trust, Hyderabad.

The camp was carried out under Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) under India Health Initiative 2018 mission.

Altogether 27 doctors including 16 from USA and other States along with 20 medical staff attended to around 1500 people from Kwakta and its surrounding villages and medicines were distributed for free.

Speaking to media persons, IMRC spokesperson , Dr John Rosenberg said that the camp provides several opportunities as well as schemes for patients who require crucial operations and treatments for free.

He said that the camp will be continued at Keikhu and Yairipok on February 10 and 11 respectively.

The specialist urged all to turn up at the camp site and avail the medical opportunities.
