The Pioneer’s Hazaribagh correspondent Rajeev Ranjan Srivastava passed away on Friday while undergoing treatment at RIMS in Ranchi. He was 54- year-old and was associated with the daily for last six years. Srivastava, who had more than a decade of experience in journalism, felt uneasy 9 pm last night and was rushed to RIMS, Ranchi for treatment. While undergoing treatment he suffered a major heart attack and died at 4 am. His last rites were performed at his native place in Hazaribagh on Friday.
He is survived by his wife and two sons.
