The Parappana Agrahara police have detained a 27-year-old ragpicker in connection with the murder of a 10-year-old boy whose body was dumped near Hosa Road market on Friday. The deceased, Mohammed Khayuum, was last seen playing in front of his house in the afternoon.
Based on a complaint, the Parappana Agrahara police have picked up Parvez who allegedly confessed to killing Khayuum while in an inebriated condition.
