Colva:
Loyola High School teachers, executive body of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and Loyola Ex-Students Association (LESA) on Saturday said that while attempts to tarnish the reputation of the institution through social media failed, they will not support corporal punishment.
Addressing a joint press conference in the school premises, LESA member Paul Baretto, teacher Belinda Jacques, PTA president Lyndon D'Silva and LESA president Elric Pereira, all spoke that the school's motto was to develop men of character, impart value education and moral values. On the recent complaint by a student, they said the pupil is already attending regular classes.
