Advaita closes with ‘Nutan Nandini 2018’

The students of Sarojini Naidu Government Girls College enjoyed the grand closure of annual fest ‘Advita’. The grand event concluded here on Friday with the competition ‘Nutan Nandini 2018’.

Giving impressive performances of ‘beauty with brains’, the talents participants walked over the ramp and competed for Nutan Nandini. On the basis of educational qualifications, intellectual level, meditation, social responsibilities, self-confidence and fitness of girls, 21 participants participated in 'Nutan Nandini'.

Various rounds were lined up for the participants to showcase their skills and talent to the audience. After the first round, 11 students out of 21 participants were selected for the next phase of the competition. In the second round five finalists were selected for the final round of the competition.

Beating every other participant the title of Miss Nutan Nandini was bagged by Dhirti Malviya. First runnerup was Vinal Rathore and second runner up was Shirin Khan. Among the judges panel ENT Specialist Dr Kirti K, Indian Administrative Service officer Manju Sharma and Parulkar founder of Aditi Kala Kendra and Sevan Style Salon were present.

Besides, Principal Manjula Sharma and other staff members were also present on the occasion.

Other than Miss Nutan Nandini other competitions like rangoli making, group songs, group dance were also organized. Under Rangoli competition traditional and free hand, flower arrangements were held. In traditional rangoli Neelu Raghuvanshi won first prize, Harshita Rurne second prize and Gayatri Thode won third prize.

Besides, in freehand rangoli Purvanshi Thakur was first prize winner, while Preeti won second and Manali Sharma and Hemlata Panthhi shared the third prize.

Other than these competitions a question-forum competition was also organized in the college. In question forum competition first prize was won by J C Bose group, second prize was won by Raman Group, and third prize was won by A PJ Group.
