Haryana would soon get 375 new anganwadi centres, for which administrative approval has been accorded and about Rs 18.56 crore would be spent on these buildings.
Women and Child Development Minister, Kavita Jain on Friday said that a sum of about Rs 9.95 lakh would be spent on each anganwadi centre. This amount included Rs 5 lakh which would be spent from MGNREGA and Rs 4.95 lakh from budget of the Department, which would be spent by the zila parishad. The construction of anganwadi centres would be undertaken by the Panchayati Raj Department, she added.
Jain further said that 10 anganwadi centres each would be constructed in districts Ambala and Bhiwani.
Similarly, 11 centres would be constructed in district Fatehabad.
