Nagar Brahmin community prog held
Ujjain : Matrimony, Yayopaveet and Introduction programmes of the Nagar Brahmin community will be organised on February 20 at Hotel Shanti Palace.
Coordinator of the matrimony committee Abha Mehta, and head of the committee Hemant Trivedi said 15 couples would get married during the ceremony and ‘yagyopaveet-sanskar’ of 12 ‘batuks’ (children) would be performed with vedic customs by a religious scholar of the community.
Local unit of MP Nagar parishad, MP Nagar mahila mandal Ujjain, Nagar Brahmin Hatkeshwar Mandir Nyas Harsiddhi, Shri Hatkeshwar devalaya Nyas Bambakhana other related organizations of the community appealed to community members to make the programmes successful.
